Embedded ADSL Router (Preliminary)
The Embedded ADSL Router is a cost effective solution that provides system designers the flexibility to include networking with an "always on" Asymmetric DSL connection with minimal engineering resources. This single chip, compact size ADSL router is a full function ATU-R (ADSL Transceiver Unit - Remote) transceiver works in remote to the DSLAM (DSL access multiplexer) from many DSL service providers, regardless of system OS and resource.
The Embedded ADSL Router is compliant to DMT signaling and many ADSL standards, including ANSI, ITU G.dmt(G.992.1) and ITU G.lite(G992.2). The router delivers data transmission at speed up to 8 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream.
The router come standard with 10Base-T and USB Ethernet interface for easy networking. The module installation is simple and require no jumper or switch configuration. The included software allows the designer to perform all initial configurations using USB interface. All subsequent update, re-configuration and management only require the use of Web HTTP and FTP protocol.
