Radicom’s USB Modem features a completely integrated global DAA, and hardware-based modem controller and DSP.  It is Communication Device Class (CDC) compliant.  The modem supports O/S including Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 and XP, Linux, Mac and Sun workstations.  It provides V.92/56K data rates, voice, fax capabilities and a hot-swappable USB 2.0 interface.

There are two form factors of the USB V.92 Modems.  Measuring just 1” x 1” x 0.1”, the V92HU modem module allows embedded applications designers to add USB modem functionality into their system mother board without taxing engineering resources.  The V92HU-E is a compact stand-alone modem with USB and RJ-11 connectors built in.  Just plug the modem into USB port of your devices, the modem will be powered through the USB port, no external power supply is required.
